From children to senior citizens, we all have benefited from stronger programs, excellent services, and a quality of life second to none. Just look around the city, and you will feel justifiably proud of what we have accomplished together.
Each day as Mayor I look forward to taking on new challenges. I am motivated by the fact that with these challenges come opportunities, including creating new jobs in green energy and new technology, collaborations with MCLA in expanding educational programs for our youth, building additions to Sullivan and Greylock Schools, helping first-time homebuyers achieve the American Dream, and making sure that long-time residents can afford to stay here by keeping North Adams affordable. Much remains to be done, and it must be done during a time of great uncertainty, when proven leadership and experience must be relied upon.
